Updates December 2023

First and foremost, thank you for your support in 2023! Our little home bakery opened in April and it's been a whirlwind every since. Your encouragement and support has helped us embrace this adventure!



A Busy Month to End a Busy Year!


From Friday deliveries to food bank volunteering to running cookie tables, this month has been a full one! Highlights?

  • Every Friday we deliver baked goods in northeast Seattle. This month's deliveries included things like pear chocolate babka, cranberry orange challah and blackberry buttercream macarons. So pleased to hear positive feedback from our Friday challah subscribers!

  • We met so many great folks & sold out of 8 loaded boxes of steaming challah and babka at one of our favorite December events: SIFF's Fiddler on the Roof sing-along.

  • We ran several cookie decorating tables and put on a gingerbread village workshop. See pictures of awesome kid creations on our Facebook page.

  • JL (the 12 yo) and Mom attended Zola Gregory's Buche de Noel class (see cake above). So fun!

  • JL finished his 2023 cook-through challenge of Kid Chef Everyday. So impressed with his dedication and skill development. Lots of photos documenting the journey on our fb page.

We're dreaming big for 2024 with new monthly workshops (Valentine's Day chocolates, bagels, macarons & more!), summer markets, new challah fillings & more. JL has already started his 2024 cook-through of America's Test Kitchen for Teen Chefs. Excited to see what we can do in year two.
